REINCARNATION

This is a subject I have vacillated on all my life.. There are many arguments for and against, all with valid and logical reasoning.

Here are some of my thoughts on it. Given the divorce rate, the affair rate and the relationship rate, I am inclined to believe man was not meant to be monogamous. There are very few species on this planet that mate for life.

We all know what the bible says.. One man and one woman for life..Divorce is a sin and so on and so forth..

However, think about this, some theories on reincarnation say that you choose your parents for various and asundry reasons..  Learn lessons, advance spiritually or have some experience. There is also the thought that families stay together but in different roles. This opens up a whole bucket of worms.

With that thought in mind, could this explain why you have an immediate attraction to someone, can it explain pedophile behavior, incest, gays and lesbians lifestyle?

If you born a man in one lifetime and came back as a woman in the next, can you carry over some of the traits and behaviors from the last life? Did you come back too soon?

If you were a mother in one lifetime and came back as the child of one of your children in the next, would this lead to favoritism of a child or an especially close relationship with the parent?  If you were a husband and wife in one life and a mother son in the next, would this be the answer for incest.

We are quick to call this behavior sick and wrong but are we fully investigating the causes and cures. If these people had the explanation of possible reincarnation, could they change their behavior?

Could it also be said, in acts of violence and crime, that if you had a problem in a previous life with someone and was reunited in some way in another life would you seek revenge?

What is the degree of separation? Are you doomed to reincarnate with the same group of people over and over till you get it “right” or do you have a choice? Do you have to continue to reincarnate with someone till you work out all differences and problems?

Here is my ideal theory of reincarnation: You get to choose when and with you and where you want to come back. Example:  Say you want to come back to Egypt in Cleopatra’s day and be her.. If that slot is free, you get to go back in time and be her. If not, you either choose something else or wait till the spot is free. If you want to live in the 1950s in America as Elvis, you may do so. Or, you can be a regular Joe Blow if you were tired of being famous. You get to be anything or anyone you want to be in whatever time period you choose.

Who controls when, where and who you come back as? How many times do you have to come back?  What happens if you don’t come back?

We all have a pretty good understanding from all reports that there is something after death. The bible talks of heaven and hell, the people who have experienced near death experiences have reports all sorts of experiences with no two alike, so what exactly does happen to us after death? I guess there is only one way to find out……..
